Sadly, it's nearly September and I haven't written one post since my trip to London in June. Time pass so fast in summer... Also, frankly, I couldn't think of anything to talk about either.But these days I've been watching videos from a page I'd really like to recommend you. It's called
TED, the initials for: "Technology, Entertainment and Design". It's mission, as they say: Spreading ideas. TED invites scientists, professors, storytellers, writers... to give a talk about projects, stories or ideas and share them with this learning community. Some celebrities like Richard Dawkins, Bill Gates, Bono (the lead singer of U2) and Stephen Hawking, among others, have given great talks in TED. If you want to listen to them, you have to go to the main page of TED: http://www.ted.com, and search their names.
And to finish, if you want to try fast english, you can listen to this talk, called "You're Gonna Miss Me", by Carmen Agra Deedy. She was born in Cuba but moved to the United States as a child, and she speaks English and Spanish very fluently. If you need subtitles, you can set them at the bottom bar of the video.
